Suzanne Cork

Yoga found Suzanne whilst she was living the "highlife" working as a lawyer between Monaco and London burning the candle at both ends. She initially starting yoga for the physical benefits but her eyes were soon opened to the amazing positive impact on her stress-levels, emotional wellbeing and outlook on life.

With a big change in lifestyle, she completed her initial 300 hour Yoga Instructor qualification in 2010 and is training for her 500 hour advanced certification with the renowned Yoga Medicine, which uses yoga to improve or heal injuries and medical conditions - invaluable when working with private clients where Suzanne creates a program to improve a specific concern or focus according to individual needs.

For her group classes Suzanne specialises in Vinyasa Flow but also loves teaching (and practising!) restorative, yin and meditation. Each session is designed with a theme in mind, interweaved in the session through her customised music playlists and posture sequencing. It could be an anatomical focus (such as hip opening, core strengthening or backbends) or a philosophical focus (such as releasing stored emotional tension or finding inner strength). Clients often appreciate the (optional!) calming head massage with essential oils during savasana at the end of the session.
