Yoga was originally a way for me to stretch after a run, then it became so much more! Now I use it on and off the mat, it's far more than just postures. Yoga helps me chose a happier, healthier life. It supports my body but also who I choose to be.How would you describe your style of Yoga?
I aim to help everyone find the benefits of Yin yoga for their body, to teach with kindness and humour. I teach from the heart, using my knowledge of the body from over ten years as a massage therapist to offer adjustments and alternatives to help find that comfortable edge. Yin is not "just lying on a mat" it's a way to exercise the connective tissues and soothe the nervous system. There is plenty of challenge in Yin and my role as teacher is to help people explore this.What is your favourite Yoga pose and why?
