Chandni’s teaching focuses on breath, body awareness and being present. Each person’s yoga practise and experience may be different from their neighbour’s in class. Keeping that in mind, Chandni offers modifications for postures and tailors her classes depending on the group. Chandni’s responsive way of teaching balances the importance of good technique with individual proficiency. Her hope is to help students practise yoga on and off the mat.
Chandni is a Yoga Alliance certified teacher (E-RYT 200, RYT 500) with over 1,100 hours of teaching experience. Yoga has been an integral part of Chandni’s life. Growing up in India, the principles and practise of yoga were present all around her, whether it was doing asanas (postures) or learning to chant in Sanskrit and Hindi. After moving to America, Chandni started practising Ashtanga and Vinyasa Flow yoga. Over the years, Chandni has continued her learning and brings her diverse experience to her classes.
