I have never done yoga before, where should I start?
If you have never done yoga before we offer a dedicated Beginners class on the timetable. Otherwise, you can always give us a call and we would be happy to make a suggestion as to the perfect class for your abilities.
What should I wear to yoga?
Whatever you will feel most comfortable to move in. It is important to keep in mind that your body will be moving in all directions so clothing that is less bulky will be more comfortable.
Can I take my possessions into the class with me?
We ask everyone to kindly refrain from bringing bags, shoes or mobile phone into the studio with them. We provide lockers downstairs for you to secure your personal possessions.
Do I need to bring a mat with me?
We provide a mat and all the equipment you will need during your class. You are however very welcome to bring your own if you would prefer.
Do you have changing facilities and am I able to shower?
We have 3 changing stalls, one shower, and a variety of lockers to store your possessions.
I want to bring a friend along, can I give them one of my class credits?
Unfortunately, our system does not allow us to transfer or share credits.
Is it safe to practice yoga during pregnancy?
It is suggested that you get advice and permission from your doctor before doing yoga when pregnant. Please give us a call and we can suggest teachers and classes that would be appropriate. If you do attend a regular class, let the instructor know if you are pregnant and what trimester you are in as there are restrictions for pregnant woman in postures that incorporate twists, stomach exercise, inversions, and forwards folds.
What happens if I am running late?
We do ask that you please try to make it on time as the teachers will take you through a warm-up sequence. We will try to get you into class if you are late but it is up to the teachers’ discretion.
What happens if I need to cancel my class booking?
If you cancel the class booking with more than 3 hours, the class credit will be returned to your class balance. However, if you cancel with less than 3 hours notice, the class credit will de deducted from your class balance.
