Join Kyla and Hannah to explore ways of soothing some symptoms of the menopause and perimenopause using acupressure, Yin yoga and surrounding knowledge. A fun and frank discussion about what can be a frustrating and challenging time of life.
Menopause and peri menopause are transitions in the natural female energy cycle. Through this workshop Kyla and Hannah offer an opportunity to learn how we can support ourselves through this change using yoga, acupressure, energy theory and your best knickers.
We will have a Yin yoga practice to help tune in to our bodies before learning more about Yin in relation to preparation for, during and beyond the menopause including hands-on self-help acupressure tips. The session will culminate in herbal tea and time to chat.
Kyla graduated from the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine in Reading, where she studied for three and a half years under some of the most qualified teachers in the country. As well as using acupuncture, she is also experienced in the use of moxibustion, cupping therapy and tui na (Chinese massage).
Hannah is part of the New Energy team, previously as a massage therapist at the gym and Yin teacher here at our studio. They met at a WI meeting many moons ago and have stayed connected through their shared passion for learning, particularly about energy and the body. It felt like time to share this well of experience for those just dipping their toes into this sea of learning.
