Many yogis see blocks/props as a step backwards, or only for beginners.
Used creatively, blocks can be a great prop for you to enhance your practice and used to build strength and flexibility.
The added support and stability can help you to engage new muscles, deepen the stretch and extend through your limitations, releasing the tension that is holding you back from those tricky poses.
Using the blocks throughout the practice we will engage muscles in a different way and add in extra movement, which may make you sweat!
But don’t worry as well as working hard there will be moments of stillness, forward folds, backbends and time to watch the breath and check in with our bodies.
This workshop will be in the Mandala/Vinyasa style with a dreamy rest-oilative practice.
