Join me on this Yoga Intensive where we will work on standing, supine and balancing postures to directly engage the deepest muscles of your body. Our practice will focus on poses which awaken and strengthen the lumbar area and the surrounding muscles providing stability, ease and spacious.
This workshop will be valuable for anyone wishing to understand how to develop a yoga practice which works the core areas of the body, as well as those needing to regain mobility in the spine and release in both the upper and lower back.
Fazila Benoit has been a practitioner of yoga for the last 25 years and has been teaching for 15 years. Her teaching style focuses on Hatha Yoga and the classical Asanas, and within this is woven Breathe-Work, Meditation, and Somatic Awareness Training (a series of floor-based movements which help heighten the body-mind connection). It is through the joining together of these various practices that participants are able to restore their bodies back to a place of balance and to experience the benefits of yoga in terms of physical well-being and its calming impact on the mind. Fazila works as an Independent Yoga Teacher in Hampshire.
