The sun salutations are a complete practice in and of themselves.
They are the place where the mind and body connect in a rhythmic correlation to the breath. If Day could only choose one part of the practice to work on for the rest of her life, it would be Surya Namaskar. It is infinitely complex and profoundly simple, complete with backbends, forward bends, lateral extensions, strength postures, inversions and standing postures.
In the course of the workshop we will look at alignment techniques for each posture, fluid transitions, and deep Ujjayi breathing.
