Hi Yogis of New Energy Yoga,

Finding it difficult to do Yoga at home, here are some good reasons why you should consider it. Beyond fitness, yoga offers many other gifts. It improves your health, reduces stress, improves sleep, and often acts like a powerful therapy to help heal relationships and boost your overall outlook on life.

If you practice Yoga for less than an hour twice a week for fitness, a good idea would be to do moderate intensity exercise like walking or perhaps increase your yoga time frequency.

Still finding it difficult even knowing the benefits, try some stretching every day this will awaken the body and will help you return to your Yoga Practice.

Another amazing thing about Yoga is when you say to the family, I am going to do my Yoga they absolutely leave you alone for an hour!!! So even if you lay on your mat and watch your breath for that hour, working with breath and meditation. You will come back feeling refreshed, this also applies to when you live alone.

I personally try to do something every day, maybe a long stretch one day or some standing postures with long classic holds and Yin Yoga which is a favourite of mine.

Slight problem with the husband, who is now a Yogi ,he only wants to do Yoga to uplifting dance trance loud music!! Well whatever gets you on the mat. Will try to convert him to silence or meditative Yoga music.
