Zen mindfulness and meditation practice works with both the body and mind to enhance and improve our health and wellbeing. It allows the body and mind to deeply relax, improves focus and concentration, alleviates the symptoms of anxiety and stress, and brings a deeper connection to the stillness within. With an emphasis on correct posture and breathing these practices also help us to re-energise and ground the body.

In these 45 minute classes we will practice mindfulness, gentle movement and a Zen meditation, allowing us to reconnect with the body and settle the mind. Meditations will vary each week and include mindfulness of the breath and body, walking meditation, energising and grounding practices and meditations to rebalance and heal the body. The class will leave you feeling relaxed, connected and energised.

Kate Rowlandson is an Advanced Zen mindfulness and meditation teacher, trained by a Zen Master in the rigorous lineage of Rinzai Zen.
