Yin Yoga is a quiet, meditative practice with a focus on passive postures (mostly seated) to target the hips, pelvis, and lower spine, and knees. The class is designed to help you sit better, longer and more comfortably in meditation. It is meant to increase flexibility and encourage the release of letting go using meditation. Yin is ideal for athletic people who may be overworking their joints and help them to relax.
